My husband and I have lived in Jersey for forty years, and you can certainly tell by looking at our home! This house still looks like it did when we purchased it back in the 1970s. Can you say tacky? Yeah, it’s a bit tacky but we love living here and don’t have any plans to leave soon. But we really needed to make some improvements if for no other reason that our kids will need to sell the house one day after we pass away and we want to make the process easier for them while we’re still here. Well Pressure Tank Membrane Repair

Is it possible to repair the rubber membrane in a well pressure tank? I noticed a significant drop in the pressure of the water coming out of my faucets in my house. At first, I was not sure of the problem. I thought it was possible that some debris may have gotten into a line, causing a disruption in the flow of the water, but I checked all of the indicators on the control box, and this does not seem to be the issue that is causing the concern. Then I learned of a great way to test the pressure tank. You can tap on the tank with your knuckles and listen to the sounds that it makes. The top of the tank should produce a hollow sound as it is filled with air, and the bottom should produce a thud sound. I checked the bottom, and it gave a nice thud, but when knocking on the top portion, it also gave a thud.

There were just so many models available, so I decided to narrow it down by focusing on what was important to me on this trip.

First off, I needed a tool with a plier attachment to fix my bindings when they were stuck. This is important because sometimes, you really have to be pulling hard to get them loose.

Second, I needed a tool with a number of screwdriver attachments, because there are many screws on my board and bindings which need to be regularly adjusted. If I don’t have all of the right screwdriver attachments, I won’t be able to adjust my equipment so that it is operating at it’s best capability.

I found a multi tool online which had everything I needed and bought it. It worked out great for my trip.

We’re a home improvement contractor that handles a lot of residential renovation and addition work. Building Our New Bathroom Using Bullnose Travertine Tile

My wife had to have bullnose travertine tile in our new master bathroom. We priced having it done by a local contractor but it was out of our budget, so my being slightly handy and willing to give it a try we embarked on this new adventure. I must say the tile work looks great! I started by looking up all the techniques including bullnose. We ripped the old vanity out and started on the new one and finished within a few days. She picked and old antique style of tile and once completed we are both very happy. The tile was very easy to work with and clean and really improves the overall look of the bathroom. My wife loves it so much, she is now picking out more tile for some planned future projects in the rest of the house, which includes the kitchen, breakfast nook and guest bathroom.
