Unclogging A Toilet

1. Use a plunger.

When a toilet bowl is clogged, yor best tool to use is a plunger. This is a tool often design with a wooden handle and a plastic cup shape piece mounted in the handle. You position the plunger to occupy the most space so that no air can pass creating a closed space for suction. Next is to push the plunger up and down, greater force creates greater suction, this imitates a pulling action to the water to break through the clogged area.

2. The snake

If that action doesn’t work, next thing to do is use a auger or what is normally called a snake. This is an instrument that you can use to get into the toilet deeper. This is a flexible coil that can bend to fit any limited space, designed to break pieces into smaller particles. Position the auger to the toilet and slowly slide the coil inside and start twisting. When you feel the chuck in the toilet, pull the auger to remove the blockage. After removing the clogging agent, you should flush the toilet to remove the smaller chunks that remained when you removed the bigger piece.
