Kylie diagnosed with cancer, tour postponed

Kylie Minogue has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and has postponed her Australian tour.

"Whilst at home in Melbourne with her family this week, prior to her Australian Showgirl Tour, Kylie was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer," Ms Minogue's publicist said in a statement released a short time ago.

"She will undergo immediate treatment and consequently her Australian tour will not be able to proceed as planned."

Ms Minogue said she was sorry to disappoint her fans.

?I was so looking forward to bringing the Showgirl Tour to Australian audiences," the 36-year-old said.

"Nevertheless hopefully all will work out fine and I?ll be back with you all again soon.?

Kylie?s Showgirl Tour was scheduled to tour Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth over the next month. Fans have been advised to hold onto their tickets pending the announcement of new Showgirl dates.

I've heard the news yesterday, I was shocked, she is so young,its so sad, I hope everything will be ok luckely they found out in time, well lets hope for the best and the treatment will be a succes.for all young girls and women in the world caught up with this disease hang in there :(

I saw her concert on cable about 2 months ago i think it was in Italy or somewhere uhh it totally sucked!! i mean!! there like 2 or 3 songs that rocked but i was disapoited in the lack of talent she had....plus ya i feel bad for condiation ... all her concerts do raise money for breat cancer awarness tho...im glad they caught the sickness at an early stage!!!!

everyone is intitled to there opinion Joey but on this matter yours does not count hehe ;)

a few friends of mine came to a kylie concert with me a couple of years back...they didnt really like her all that much. after the concert they surprised me when they said they thought she but on an amazing show and is quite the performer...so like i said everyone has different opinions but i think

Kylie's concert has been postponed for 12 months... :( i was ment to go to the concert last night...i was emotional....
